Your challenge

You are responsible for preparing and implementing accurate payroll processing. You enjoy tackling complex tasks and find it energizing. You ensure consistent high quality through comprehensive checks. You have a proactive attitude and a sense of ownership. You understand that every step in the process impacts the final payment to employees. Therefore, you base your decisions on facts, not assumptions.

What are your duties?

• The correct and timely processing of salaries;
• Managing and optimizing HR and payroll systems
• To be a source of information for our internal organization, but also to maintain contacts with external parties such as accountants, insurers, tax authorities, pension funds, etc.;
• Performs quality controls and ensures data accuracy
• Actively participate in HR projects and improvement initiatives

In this role, you’ll report to the HR Services team leader. The HR Services department is part of the HR team. The entire HR team in Roermond consists of 22 professionals: HR Partners, HR Services (payroll and HR admin), Recruitment, C&B, and L&D.

Your profile

You’re a customer-focused, dedicated employee who knows how to get things done. You’re dedicated to your work, and when the job demands it, you’re there! You enjoy a bit of a rush, are highly organized, and maintain a clear overview, even when workloads suddenly spike. You’re not afraid to ask others for help or to address them when necessary.

• HBO working and thinking level supplemented with the practical diploma in payroll administration (PDL), a plus is vocational training in VPS;
• At least 5 years of similar experience in the field of personnel and payroll administration;
• Good knowledge of MS Office. Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of payroll software (NMBRS) are a plus.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch and English;
• Available for at least 24 hours per week (full-time also possible). Fixed days off are negotiable.
